The U.S. Paralympics, a division of the United States Olympic Committee, has named Michigan City High School’s Noah Scherf as an All-American for his exploits with City Track and Field . Now in its eighth year, the list honors the top high school track and field athletes who have a Paralympic-eligible impairment, based on their performances in the 2017 season.
Scherf is recognized for his amazing times in the 800, 1600, and 5000 meter races as a Senior at City, despite being legally blind. Noah has graduated and taken his talents to one of the tougher Cross Country courses in the state of Indiana, now attending Earlham College in Richmond Indiana. This was the 3rd time that Noah Scherf has been honored as an All-American.
