Michigan City High School senior Jacob Adams made the most of his second consecutive trip to Bloomington. Adams ran track state finals in the 800 meter run and destroyed the school and City record for the event by running a 1:53.02. Adams previously had a best of 1:54.60, which had been the fastest time in the entire state until this meet. His pace placed him on the medal stand with a 3rd place finish. Last year Jacob took 8th with a 1:56.90.
Adams finishes off his senior year with two school records as he also set the mark for the mile run as well as the 800 meter mark today.
